What is stored
| Data | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|
| Your Fluxer user ID, display name and username with discriminator | To tell players apart and show who is who | Until your character is deleted |
| Your game data: level, items, gold, pets, fights, quests, achievements, cooldowns, your profile bio and anything else you do in the game | To run the game | Until your character is deleted. The fight history keeps only your newest fights |
| Command log: the command, what you typed after it, the server and channel IDs and the time | To find cheating and fix bugs | 30 days |
| Anti-cheat flags, unusually high market payments between players, and bans with their reason | To keep the game fair | Flags stay until a game master clears them. Market payments stay 7 days. Bans stay as long as they apply |
| FluxerList votes and bumps for the bot or its server | To hand out rewards | Current voters are replaced with each sync. Reward records stay so a reward is not paid twice |
| Server ID and server settings, such as a custom prefix | To make the bot work in that server | Until they are deleted on request |
Daily backups of the database are kept for 7 days. Technical logs may also contain your user ID when something goes wrong. This website's server handles your IP address to deliver the pages and does not log it.
Your messages
The bot receives messages in channels it can see, because Fluxer has no slash commands for bots yet. It checks each one for its prefix. Messages that are not commands are ignored and not stored.
Who can see your data
- Other players can see your name, profile, game progress, leaderboard places and first discoveries.
- Game masters can see your account, command log and anti-cheat flags. Flags and server changes are also posted in a private log channel.
- Hetzner Online GmbH hosts the server and database in Germany.
- Fluxer carries all messages to and from the bot. See Fluxer's privacy policy.
- FluxerList runs the voting and bumping. The bot reads who voted and bumped from it, and sends it the server count. See fluxerlist.com.
Your data is not sold and is not used for advertising.
Legal basis
Under the GDPR, running the game for you is based on Art. 6(1)(b). Anti-cheat, moderation, bug fixing and backups are based on Art. 6(1)(f): the legitimate interest in a fair and working game.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, have it corrected or deleted, restrict its use, and object to its use based on legitimate interest. You also have the right to receive your data in a portable format. Send your request by email or on the support server, and include your Fluxer user ID.
Deleting your data also deletes your character and cannot be undone. It leaves the backups after at most 7 days. A ban record may be kept to stop a banned player from returning.
You can complain to a data protection authority, for example the one where you live.
Age
You must meet the minimum age Fluxer requires in your region.
Changes
If what the bot stores changes, this page is updated and the date at the top changes with it.
